Q: How can I view a sample of your furniture before I commit to purchasing?

A: We have a showroom with some pieces on display at 31 Hercules Cres, Albany WA. We can email you with different images if required, and also courier you Free timber finish samples. 9 times out of 10, this is all that is required.

Q: Can I customize furniture to my liking?

A: Yes, that is exactly what we do!

We strongly believe in listening to our customers in the development of your new furniture. If you would like to add a drawer, reduce or increase the overall size or colour match to your existing furniture, this is all possible at Albany Fine Furniture.

Q: Do you deliver to Perth?

A: Yes, we use and recommend a local professional furniture carrier – Gary Sweetnam Removals. Who will pick-up from us and deliver directly to your home. Please contact us to organise a quote.

Q: Do you freight Australia wide?

A: Yes, we do freight Australia wide. We pass the cost directly onto the customer and therefore do not have a set rate for delivery as we want to keep it as affordable as possible. Please contact us to organise a quote.

Q: How long do I have to wait for my new furniture once I have ordered and paid my deposit?

A: Generally we allow 10 – 12 weeks for manufacturing; however this time frame can vary depending on our workload at any given time.

Q: What is the finish on the furniture?

A: We use a pre-catalysed lacquer on most of our pieces with a 2 pack polyurethane coating on all table tops which is resistant to water and heat.

Q: Will I need to protect the finish of my new furniture with anything?

A: No. Excess oil and some polishes contain silicone that isn’t great for lacquered surfaces as they can impregnate the surface and cause a chemical reaction if the surface ever requires re-polishing. Just wipe it over with a clean damp cloth and a dry soft cloth in the direction of the grain.

Q: Do I need to pay a deposit?

A: Yes, to secure your place in the queue, we require 50% of the total cost of your order as a deposit. 

Q: What is the process for ordering a piece of furniture?

A: Once you have contacted us with your desired requirements, we will compile to scale drawings, sketches and other images. We will send you a detailed quotation that has our bank details displayed for you to pay cash, cheque or EFT payment. Upon completion you will get a phone call or email notifying you that your furniture is ready and the final balance is due to be paid.

Q: Lifetime Guarantee? What does it cover?

A: All Albany Fine Furniture carries a LIFETIME GUARANTEE against any material or construction fault, excluding misuse and normal wear. Fabrics and coverings and the lacquer finish are NOT included in the guarantee. This LIFETIME GUARANTEE applies to the original purchaser only and does not apply to commercial applications.
